The Tehachapi POPS Orchestra (TPOPS) had been entertaining the community for 15 years before having to go dark during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. Coral and Chris Holland moved into their Tehachapi home on Dec. 21, 2021 just in time to host a whole family for Christmas. Judith Ann Whitfield, 83, passed away on March 20 in Bakersfield after a lengthy battle with an eating disorder. Judy was born in San Francisco to Ralph and Alice Rogers and was raised by her parents in the redwoods near Leggett Valley, California.
