    Ten years ago, a simple idea was born – to have a party to raise money for local nonprofit organizations. The idea took shape and the first Cheers to Charity (C2C) event took place in the parking lot outside of what was then Veritas Wine Bar. The building, which was later torn down, was used by the Chamber of Commerce and rented to the Heritage League.
