    Now is the time to buy your ticket for the Art 2024 Tehachapi opening event on July 19 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Aspen Builders Community Activity Center located at 410 W. D St. in Tehachapi. Tickets are $125 and 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go to the Art in the Parks program with Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District.     In mid May, 50 nationally known plein air artists journeyed to Tehachapi for the fourth paint out sponsored by the Tehachapi Arts Commission.     The Tehachapi Museum first opened on July 4, 1973 in a small building on Tehachapi Boulevard. The building, which was later torn down, was used by the Chamber of Commerce and rented to the Heritage League.
