    Serena Thornburg, a sixth-grade student at Jacobsen Middle School, recently competed at the California State Science and Engineering Fair, the final science fair of the academic year for students throughout the State of California in grades 6-12.     The Peace Pole Project is a service project that our Valley Oaks Tehachapi High School Interact Club students completed this year.
