This is the second year the Desert Rose Garden Club of California City will be hosting a "Free the Ladybug" event for the kids. About 20,000 ladybugs will be let loose! On a beautiful spring day, a dozen people showed up to display their pride for the community by picking up roadside trash from the BVS gate to State Route 202. We "picked up" the biggest piece of trash ever: a crushed water tank!
