Get ready to celebrate Easter at First Baptist Church, 1049 S. Curry St., Tehachapi, on March 31 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. We have lots of family-friendly events planned, and we can’t wait to share the joy of this special day with you and your family.
Join us for a joyous Easter Sunday with a fantastic lineup of events planned for the whole family to enjoy.
9:30 a.m. – Easter Breakfast
Start your Easter Sunday right with a delicious potluck breakfast! While you’re welcome to bring your favorite dish to share, there will be plenty of food for everyone. Join us as we gather for a time of fellowship and community!
10 a.m. – Story & Kid’s – Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn
Children are invited to join us on the church lawn for an exciting Easter Egg Hunt! But first, let’s gather to hear the timeless story of Easter and the significance of this special day. Then, little ones can dash around the lawn, hunting for colorful eggs filled with treats and surprises.
10:45 a.m. – Resurrection Celebration
Let’s come together as a community to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through music, prayer, reflection and a special performance by our handbell choir, we’ll rejoice in the hope and promise that Easter brings. Join us as we worship together, uplifted by the message of redemption and new life.
