Jennifer Palakiko, Edward Jones Financial Advisor|Dec 18, 2021

As you know, inflation heated up in 2021, following years of pretty stable – and low – numbers. And now, early in 2022, we're still seeing elevated prices. As a consumer, you may need to adjust your activities somewhat, but as an investor, how should you respond to inflation? First, it helps to know the causes of this recent inflationary spike. • New Year's around the world

    Tanya Joham, staff writer|Dec 18, 2021

Most Americans love to ring in each new year by counting down at midnight on Dec. 31 and watching fireworks either in person or on television. Lots of us love to watch the ball drop in Times Square in New York City on New Year's Eve and the Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif. on New Year's Day. We hug and kiss and dance. We make (often futile) resolutions. And although lots of countries and cultures celebrate when we do, there are many who don't. Perhaps the most familiar is Chinese New Year, which...

    Greg Cunningham, owner of Tech-hachapi|Dec 18, 2021

Don't give up if your home Wi-Fi signal doesn't reach the other side of the house, upstairs, or out to the garage. The installer from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) probably installed their connection and your Wi-Fi router next to your computer. Unless your computer is in the middle of your house, the walls, and the pipes and wiring inside the walls knock down...

    Diana Wade, LDA|Dec 18, 2021

There are times, as the successor trustee, you may find that the decedent, such as your parent, signed a trust document designating certain assets to be held in trust but for some reason failed to actually transfer title into the name of the trust. I have seen trusts that have failed to record the new deed to the family home. You should see an attorney for advice on whether you should record or not. Generally, assets not transferred to the living trust could still be subject to probate....
