    Artist were seen painting en plein air around Tehachapi on May 18. Many of the nearly 50 artists who visited Tehachapi from May 16-19 were out and about on Demo Day, giving the public a chance to watch them begin their work for the July 19-21 Art 2024 Tehachapi show. Among them were Tehachapi muralist Lyn Bennett painting en plein air at the Depot and 2024 Featured Artist Laura Wambsgans spent the day painting the vineyard at Tehachapi Wine and Cattle Company....

    As always, the 3rd annual TNAZ Cruizin Car Show was a big hit on May 18. The show brought in more than 60 hot rods and custom cars. A fantastic mix of historical American cars from Ford to Chevy to Oldsmobile. My favorite was a local Tehachapi car. A 1937 Oldsmobile restored by Tom from Tehachapi. Originally Tom was trying to sell the Oldsmobile for a friend as a favor and he just could not find a buyer. So, Tom got the Oldsmobile for himself to work on. It turned out to be a labor of love...

    On April 5, Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District's Tots Program hosted their annual Tots Art Gala at the ABIAC gym. This year's theme was Tots Glows Wild.
