American Legion Auxiliary Department President visits Tehachapi

Tehachapi American Legion Auxiliary Unit 221 recently welcomed members of Auxiliary District 15 for the official visit of Department of California Auxiliary President, Glenda Schultz.

Those in attendance enjoyed a delicious brunch followed by reports of what each of the Units in the District are accomplishing.

Madam President Glenda shared information on her special project "Be The One" for veteran suicide prevention. Some of the ways we can help include asking a veteran how they are doing, listen when a veteran needs to talk and reach out when a veteran is struggling. Meetings of Tehachapi Auxiliary Unit 221 are held the third Wednesday of each month at the American Legion Hall, 125 E. F St., beginning at 5 p.m.
