Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District (TVHD) first heard about Little Free Library (LFL) when Tehachapi News wrote an article about Melissa Foster from T-Town. She not only has a LFL but does special things for the kids in the neighborhood during holidays.
TVHD has been inspired by her, not just for her LFL, but her kind heart and giving ways. TVHD is happy to join the LFL list and is on the map of towns with libraries of their own.
They purchased their little house from Sharing and Caring and had a vision of creating their own LFL. Handyman Donald Harrison, with Harrison Handyman & Restoration, brought the house back to life by repainting with weather resistant paint, adding roof shingles and hanging the Chapter 156665 LFL tag.
They are official!
