The TehachaSleep showroom has many mattresses to sample and choose from.

The right mattress for you depends on your sleeping position, body type, and desired materials. Here are some things to consider:

Sleeping position

Side sleepers should look for a more forgiving mattress that helps relieve pressure on their hips and shoulders. Back and stomach sleepers should look for an orthopedic mattress to help keep their body aligned. Combination sleepers should look for a mattress with a combination of both qualities that have good motion isolation and support. Reducing transfer of motion so as not to disturb your partner.

Body type

Heavier sleepers tend to need a slightly more solid mattress, to create more support. Lighter weight sleepers tend to need a slightly more forgiving feel, to create more pressure relief.

Pain relief

If you have back, hip, or shoulder pain, you should choose a mattress that prioritizes pain and pressure relief for those areas. Such as copper infused mattresses and the use of an adjustable base.

Mattress type

Memory foam mattresses offer superior pressure relief and are good for people fibromyalgia, rotator cuff problems. Coil or innerspring mattresses are supportive and bouncy and are good for people over 250 pounds or back or stomach sleepers.
