The Holidays are rapidly approaching. Last year Main Street tried something new with the Ugly Christmas Sweater Wine Walk and it was a delightful success. This year the Rotary Club of Tehachapi has partnered with Main Street to present the 2nd Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Wine Walk. This event takes place starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28th.
What a perfect opportunity to show your out of town guests just how much fun we have in Tehachapi. Encourage them to bring their ugliest Christmas sweater so they can enter the contest. There will be over 15 locations to sample appetizers and enjoy a variety of red or white wine. You’ll get a map which will indicate what wines are where so you can make sure to visit those businesses that have the perfect wine to suit your palate.
You, family and friends will start at The Depot, pick up glasses and 10 tasting tickets and start the journey for the most fun filled, crazy night of laughter and silliness as you cheer on those with the most ridiculous, colorful and flamboyant holiday sweaters.
Glass pickup begins at 6 p.m. and the event goes until 9 p.m. Online orders using credit cards are available through Eventbrite at http://www.MainStreetTehachapi.org .
Tickets are $25 dollars each in advance, and $30 on the day of the event.
Tickets can also be purchased at Get Dressed Boutique, Tehachapi Flower Shop, The Dressing Room, the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce, and at Triassic Vineyards (Cash or checks at all locations).
