    On July 13, Maureen Kelly, Cheryl Johnson and Pauline Haddox drove to Children's Hospital Los Angeles to donate 102 quilts made by the talented and most generous ladies of the Comfort Quilts committee of the Tehachapi Mountain Quilters. This is a yearly trek we make to ensure the children that are hospitalized know they are loved and encouraged in their recovery.     On Sept. 30, Cheryl Johnson, Pauline Haddox and Maureen Kelly from Comfort Quilts met in town to deliver 19 quilts, four quilt tops plus three boxes of quilts donated by Antelope Valley Quilt Association to Deanna, a representative from the Ridgecrest Quilt Guild.     On June 23, Cheryl Johnson, Anna DeGraff and Maureen Kelly drove to Children's Hospital of Los Angeles to deliver 159 quilts that were made by the wonderful ladies who comprise the Comfort Quilts group. Comfort Quilts is a group of ladies that are part of the Tehachapi Mountain Quilters. These generous volunteers donate their time to make quilts to help others in need.
