Stephen M. Kingsley, 75, passed into glory on March 10 surrounded by his loving wife, three sons, his daughter and their families. Steve was born in Lancaster, California in 1949. His family-owned Kingsley Glass Company, where he mastered his trade. Steve married Gillian in 2007 and they loved to walk together, take road trips and were very involved in their church.
To know Steve was to love him. He valued and loved people so well and was a friend to many. He will be deeply missed.
A military service was held at Bakersfield National Cemetery on March 28. Wood Family Funeral Service, Inc. is handling the arrangements with memorial service to be held on Easter Saturday, March 30 at the Tehachapi Vineyard Church, at 10 a.m.
Steve's family requests that donations are made in lieu of flowers to The Mission, a Romanian orphanage he supported: http://www.themissioninc.org/romania/.
