Those of us who live in Tehachapi are aware of its picturesque landscapes, vibrant community, rich history and that it is now on the verge of becoming the next must-visit destination of Central and Southern California.
Our town exhibits a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness that is just waiting to be discovered. From the charm of our picturesque downtown, with its museums and shopping, to the wine tasting rooms of Cummings Valley and the breathtaking views from the Tehachapi Loop Overlook, there is something here for everyone.
The Tehachapi Visitor Center, located in the heart of Downtown Tehachapi, is operated by the Tehachapi TOURISM COMMISSION, an organization that is part of the Greater Tehachapi Economic Development Council. Through the Visitor Center, the Commission works to promote Tehachapi's attractions, events and local businesses, and plays a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our town as a tourism destination.
As we strive to put our town on the map, there is currently a unique opportunity for passionate Tehachapians to contribute to this exciting journey. Become a volunteer with the Tourism Commission as a staff member of the Tehachapi Visitor Center. By joining this dynamic team, you may be able to directly influence the strategies and initiatives that will elevate Tehachapi to new heights.
As a Tourism volunteer, you'll be part of a movement to attract visitors and investors, and to contribute to the prosperity and growth of Tehachapi.
