Warrior Boosters recognize November Athletes of the Month

The Tehachapi Warriors Booster Club honored Athlete of the Month recipients for the month of November on Dec. 14 at Tehachapi High School. Honorees were recognized for their work on the fields, courts and courses in the month of November and represented the final group for the fall sport's season.

The girl athletes honored were Presley Gardener (Varsity Volleyball), Audrey Landers (JV Volleyball), Kylee Christy (Frosh/Soph Volleyball), Paityn Billings (Varsity Tennis), Princess Amezcua (JV Tennis), Siena Kaiser (Varsity Golf), Violet Casas (Varsity Cross Country), Katie Crookston (JV Cross Country), Jaidyn Oropeza (Varsity Cheer) and Maci Martin (JV Cheer).

Those honored on the boys side were Adrian Navarro (Varsity Football), Junior Alaniz (JV Football), Paxon Schulze (Frosh/Soph Football), James Addison (Varsity Cross Country) and William Crookston (JV Cross Country).

Each athlete received an Athlete of the Month patch for their letterman jackets and an Athlete of the Month t-shirt, courtesy of the Tehachapi Warriors Booster Club. Athlete of the Month recognition is an important part of the Warrior Booster Club's mission to support student-athletes at Tehachapi High School through recognition for their outstanding efforts in competition, representing the Warriors and the community.

Over 40 athletes were honored for their performances during the fall sports season, which included, football, volleyball, cross country, golf, tennis and cheerleading. Athlete of the Month recognition will now move into the winter sports season and will honor performances in basketball, soccer, wrestling and cheerleading.

The Tehachapi Warriors Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds and supports all teams at Tehachapi High School through memberships and fundraising. Monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. at The Village Collective Studio in Downtown Tehachapi.
