Karaoke goes Kozmic

On Nov. 15, Eric's Karaoke & DJ hosted the grand finale to their ongoing karaoke contest at Don Perico's restaurant.
Local Aubrey McDonald won with her rendition of Janis Joplin's "Kozmic Blues." Next to Aubrey is Eric Leishman, host of Eric's Karaoke.
Aubrey posted on her Facebook: "Anything is possible if you give it all you got! Or as Janis said, 'Get it while you can!'"
"When it comes to anything in life we have the ability to do great things. Just trust, and believe.
"I had the best time singing my heart out last night. I've grown so much more comfortable in my voice and myself. For that I'm proud. Thank you Eric and Francie for bringing people together in song. It's something we can all relate to and it hits straight to the heart. I'm not so great with speeches so this is part of what I could not say last night. This will be a time to remember years to come."
Eric's Karaoke will continue to host karaoke at Don Perico's on Wednesday evenings.
