Join us on Sunday, June 26 at Philip Marx Central Park, Tehachapi, at 2 p.m. for a fun and free family event. We have the pleasure of having an Air Force band perform for our community.
The Air National Guard Band of the West Coast provides a wide spectrum of musical support for events that enhance the morale, motivation and esprit de corps of our airmen, foster public trust and support, aid recruiting initiatives, and promote our national interests at home and abroad. The band serves California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming.
The Air National Guard Band of the West Coast traces its history to October 1941, with the formation of the 62nd Army Air Force Band in Augusta, Georgia. The band is composed of citizen-airmen whose civilian occupations range from professional musicians and music educators to computer programmers, accountants, engineers, and law enforcement officers.
