Golden Hills Elementary School 5th grader Hannah Morris received a Certificate of Recognition as the winner of the Tehachapi Unified School District Spelling Bee. Morris represented the District at the March 2 County Spelling Bee in Bakersfield.
At their March 10 meeting, the TUSD School Board presented several Certificates of Recognition.

The Tehachapi High School Lady Warriors Varsity Basketball Team received recognition for winning the League Championship with 10 wins and 0 losses. Teagan Thurman also came home with the All League Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
