Holiday shopping still needs physical stores, plenty available locally

The International Council of Shopping Centers claims that this holiday season the importance of physical stores grows as more shoppers plan to buy online and pick up in store.

According to ICSC, nine of 10 shoppers plan to make purchases in physical stores this holiday season while 97 percent plan to purchase online and pick up in store. Of those shoppers, 82 percent say they will make additional purchases when picking up their items.

With that in mind, local retail options are abundant in 2019 as Tehachapi residents can not only save a trip out of town, but also save money as well.

Shopping Locally at small or large businesses not only benefits your friends and neighbors, but thanks to the low sales tax rates, shopping in Tehachapi will save you money as well.
