July 2 starts off three days of Independence Day Celebration in Bear Valley Springs, a gated community in the Greater Tehachapi Area. The 25th Annual Independence Day Parade will be at 10 a.m. on the 4th. Hot air balloon rides are scheduled for all three days. Challenge the Bear cycling ride will be held on Saturday, July 2, as is the Firecracker 5K Run. Craft and activity booths, food, and commercial booths will be available at Cub Lake all three days. Other activities include a moonlight movie on Saturday, a classic car show and the 3rd Annual Freedom Boat Parade on Sunday.
