In honor of National Wine Day, Bakersfield news channels 29 & 58 came to Tehachapi in the early morning (5 a.m.) on May 24 for a live newscast from Triassic Vineyard. Interviewer Kalina Astrinos joined Triassic Vineyard owners Sally and Jim Arnold , Bob and Patty Souza from Souza Family Vineyard, Mike and Michele Dorner from Dorner Family Vineyard, Cliff and Lisa Meredith from Stray Leaves Vineyard and Sonja Martini from Martini Vineyard.
Along with indulging in a bit of early-morning wine drinking, the interview gave the vineyard owners a chance to promote the up and coming wine industry in Tehachapi. Remember, "You don't have to go to Paso to get good wine!" Drink Up Tehachapi!
Bob and Patty Souza told their story to Kalina Astrinos from channels 29 & 58 in honor of National Wine Day. Bob was referred to as the "Godfather," which he really liked.
