Nick Smirnoff (NPPA)

Speaking to the audience is T-Pops Conductor Daniel Musquez.

Opening its ninth season the Tehachapi T-Pops Orchestra played a diverse range of musical selections. Enjoyed by music fans that nearly filled the church, the orchestra performed works from motion picture soundtracks, Broadway and the classics. In lieu of the usual intermission a short cake walk was held. Tickets were purchased upon arrival,

a dozen or so cakes donated and led by the orchestras version of "Downtown" marchers stopped on a number and if it corresponded to the number you stood on, a cake was yours. The proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the church as a thank you for hosting the orchestra. T-Pops next performance will be Fourth of July.
