Combining their love of horses and community service, Jeff and Debi have joined others to start a new Mounted Unit for the Kern County Park Rangers. A completely voluntary organization, the group will assist the Rangers and represent them at various community events.

Come attend this fantastic fundraiser where you'll be able to meet the riders and their horses while enjoying some fantastic wine. Proceeds will be shared between the Mounted Unit and Debi's charity, the Kern County Animal Services Commission.
Souza Family Vineyard hosted the Tehachapi Depot Railroad and Museum for the Nov. 8 Celebrity Bar Tender event. The Depot President Don Stevens, and the Treasurer Scott Taylor, poured wine. Depot board member and event coordinator Catherine Smirnoff, handed out information and collected donations for the Depot's ongoing "Rail Safety" projects geared toward children learning about the dos and don'ts of railroad safety.
