Sally Errecart and Harold Cox celebrated their 80th birthdays on First Friday

The Local Scene

Sally Errecart and Harold Cox toast one another to celebrate their 80th birthdays. They are volunteers at the Tehachapi Museum, and this photo was taken at the Errea House, which is located across the street from the museum. Proudly shown is the newly donated player piano with sheet music from 1935, featuring the most popular song of that year “Lullaby of Broadway”. Also at the piano is one of the most popular books of 1935, “Studs Lonigan”. Photo provided by Harold Cox.

The Tehachapi Museum and Errea House Museum are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12 to 4 p.m. The Museum is also open on First Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m. Currently two new exhibits are on display.
