What's Up in Stallion Springs?

Are you Conserving Water?

We are in a severe drought. Please conserve water as much as possible. Fix leaky faucets, use drought tolerant landscape and reclaim water. Use a bucket in the shower to collect water and use it to water your flowers and plants.

Want to know how much you are conserving? Check your latest water bill. In the center of the bill you will find a line that tells you how many units you used during the same period last year. You can compare it to your current usage to see your savings. Are you saving at least 25 percent?

Remember, we are in a severe drought. Drought forces wildlife to lower elevations in their search for a water source. As prey congregates at lower elevations, so do the predators. Mountain lions and bobcats are predatory animals. Black bears generally are not predatory but opportunistic animals. However, a black bear has been spotted on several occasions in the past couple of weeks.
