Horse Thief Women's Golf Club – tournament winners and new board

Horse Thief Women’s Golf Club hosted their annual President’s Cup Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 16 and 17 at Horse Thief Country Club in Stallion Springs. Kathy Williams won the prestigious title with a two day net score of 137. Other winners included: First Flight: 1st place, Dianne Cooper, 2nd place Dee Grayson, 3rd place Judy Theriault; Second Flight: 1st place, Bettie Azevedo, 2nd place, Darlene Schumacher, 3rd place, Maria Carbone.
The awards were presented at a Club meeting and potluck which followed the tournament on Wednesday, June 17th, at the home of Sandy Bineau. Other business included the installation of officers for the 2015-2016 year in original poetic form written by Darlene Schumacher.
Officers included: President, Angela Pearson; 1st Vice President and Tournament Chair, Judy Theriault; 2nd Vice President, Maureen Reilly; Secretary, Karen Ardaiz, Treasurer, Kathi Dyer; Handicap & Membership, Dianne Cooper and WSCGA Representative, Janna Calaway.
During the meeting, Lenora Crumrine, who passed away May 29th, was remembered as an active club member and friend to all. A memorial golf tournament will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 27, sponsored by her husband, Tom.
Future Club events include the Flag Tournament on July 4th and Club Champion Tournament on August 12 and 13.
