Events at the Treasure Trove

June 4 to August 13, Thursday evenings 4-7, Farmers Market. The farmers Market is held in Railroad Park across the street from the store. The Treasure Trove has reserved a booth and has table space available for vendors. Please contact the store for additional information.
Open Studios at the Treasure Trove
Open Studios at the Treasure Trove do not require reservations – you can come and be inspired to do your best work (or play!) in our comfortable and creative environment and share ideas with other artists and crafters. No teachers will be available during open studios. Come any time any time the store is open and classes are not using the entire room. Three hour Open Studio sessions are available for $5. Come on over and get busy being creative!
Monday evening - 5 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday morning - 10 to 1:30 p.m.
Knitting, Crocheting & Needle Art
Friday morning - 10 to 1 p.m.
Open Studio - All Media.
PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) meets Third Thursdays 7 p.m.
Classes at the Treasure Trove
Reservations for all classes with a deposit must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class. Students may bring their own supplies for classes or purchase supplies at the Treasure Trove. Tuesday afternoons, 2-4 p.m. is Earth Clay with Gloria Moore for $25 per class plus clay and firing charge. A weekly open work shop to explore various methods of working with earth based clay.
Wednesday mornings 10-2 p.m. - Adventures in Painting with Juanita Niemeyer. A workshop for artists painting with oils or acrylics. Bring your own project or work on a project supplied by the teacher. Juanita is an experienced art teacher and can help with techniques for whatever you want to paint. Paint on canvas, wood, glass, paper or ceramic bisque. $20 per session (not including materials). A variety of materials are available for sale at the Treasure Trove. Come any Wednesday and experience your creativity. Please bring lunch. Lunch break will be half an hour.
July 11 - Saturday morning from 10 to Noon, Iris Paper Folding - choice of subject with Janet Meabon for $20. Class price includes materials to make one card. Learn to make sensational cards with folded paper. Create a special greeting. The class price includes materials to make one card. Materials for additional cards will be available for $5.
July 18 - Saturday morning 10-2 p.m., Basic Scrap Booking with Cathy Clark. $20 plus supplies. Bring pictures and scrapbook album. Bring paper and embellishments or buy them at the Treasure Trove. Bring any tools you have and others will be available to share. Let Cathy help you put it all together.
July 24 - Saturday afternoon, 1 to 4 p.m. Jewelry Making with Dawn Callahan for $25 Plus Materials. Learn beading and jewelry making basics: Create your own necklace and earrings.
August 8 - Saturday 10-1 p.m. Felt Flower Making with Patti Stevens. $30 plus supplies. Students will make roses and peonies from felt and wire.

Reservations and a deposit are required no later than 48 hours prior to the class.
