Former Police Chief of Tehachapi Jeff Kermode, came out of retirement to help Bear Valley Springs fill its recently vacated Police Chief vacancy. Former BVS Chief Rod Walters, retired and moved out of state. While the BVS Board of Directors work to fill the position Mr. Kermode will act as the interim Chief of Police for Bear Valley Springs.
