Movin' On members include vocalist Kat Gair, guitarists Gary Levin and Paul Hughes, bassist David Crowe, and behind the drum kit you never know if it is going to be Nick Benedict, John Wayne or Burt Lancaster at the gig. This year the band added keyboards to the mix which has enabled them to expand their playlist with Soul music and Americana. What makes the sound of Movin' On distinctive is their ability to weave intricate vocal harmonies together with tight instrumental arrangements.

You have probably seen Movin' On at many of our local venues, including: the Tehachapi Chili Cook-Off, the VFW and Moose Lodge, Souza Family Vineyard events, the Bear Valley Country Club, the Harvest Moon Dance, and most recently the fundraiser for Healing Horses and Armed Forces.

As all five of the band members are seasoned players, occasionally you'll find them "jamming" with other local musicians, but most of all, they feel very blessed to have found one other here in Tehachapi. Movin' On plans on continuing making music together for a very long time, and one of these days - before they keel over in their rocking chairs – they plan on writing and recording their own songs!
