In Central Park

The Black Gold Cloggers demonstration team is located in Bakersfield CA. Our instructor is Loni O'Donley and the class is offered by the Bakersfield Recreation and Parks. We meet at Silver Creek Recreation Center, 7011 Harris Road, Bakersfield, CA each Thursday evening from 6 until 8:45 p.m.Our next beginner class starts on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 6 p.m. All ages are welcomed. You can come any Thursday evening to see what we do. Then, if you think you would like to learn this fantastic dance form, come to our beginner class in October. We would love to have you. You can find more information about our club at http://www.blackgoldcloggers.webs.com . If you have any questions, you can use the Contact Us tab on the site.

Clogging is a percussive dance form. We dance to any music with a good eight count beat. You will be doing a dance the first evening. As you learn more and more steps, you will learn more and more dances. It is a process of building on a foundation. Loni will help you do this.

The Black Gold Cloggers have been demonstrating this dance form in Bakersfield since 1982. We enjoy what we do and are excited about dancing at the Tehachapi Mountain Festival again this year.

Thank you for having us.
