At Kelley's Café we like doing food the old fashioned way; we actually cook it.
That is to say our food is not pre-cooked (or pre-wrapped and cooked).
Our chicken fried steak is made with fresh cube steak that is tenderized, then breaded and cooked to order. These steaks are not cookie-cutter chicken fried steak that has already been breaded and cooked.
Our ham is a bone-in ham steak. We give you ham, not a sliver of ham. Our hamburgers are made fresh, not from a frozen cookie-cutter hamburger patty. Our hamburger steak is a real hamburger steak, not a frozen hamburger patty. We even make our own sausage patties in-house.
With our bacon, you don't have to eat all four pieces at one time to realize you're eating bacon.
We pride ourselves on giving you a good home-style cooked meal at Kelley's Cafe. As I'm often heard to say, I serve food I like to eat.
When you order a steak dinner or any dinner at Kelley's, you get a full dinner, that means complete...with the works. We do not piece out our meals to our customers.
The price that you see is for your dinner, not just the meat.
We are located in Old Towne Tehachapi at 20424 Brian Way. Our hours are Sunday through Thursday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Be sure to join us for home-style dinner Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm.
