California State Park’s Antelope Valley Indian Museum State Historic Park (SHP) will celebrate Native American Heritage Month with five guest artists sharing their Native culture with museum visitors. The California Living Museum (CALM) announced that tickets for the award- winning HolidayLights are now on sale at www.calmzoo.org. This year, the event is returning to its original format as a walk-thru event after three years as a drive-thru experience. The City of Tehachapi is assisting the Tehachapi American Legion Post 221 with a bench dedication ceremony on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m., at 125 E. F Street. American Legion Post 221 is dedicating a donated custom-made bench from the renewable industry to honor the memory of Tehachapi resident Gilbert Louis Mitchell who was a Naval Flight Officer. The California Living Museum (CALM) and the Tree Foundation of Kern are calling all nature enthusiasts to take part in a behind-the-scenes CALM experience.
