Wearing his Congressional Medal of Honor, Leroy Petry, Army Ranger who grabbed a grenade in Afghanistan in 2008 while he was wounded, saving two other soldiers and losing his hand. He wears a prosthetic hand. After being wounded, he declined to take a disability retirement and requested to serve another deployment in Afghanistan, his seventh to there and Iraq. "The country is thriving and doing better.," he told the media. "The civilians say 'We wish you could stay.' We explained 'We have our own families.'" He said the military is doing amazing things with prosthetics. "I encourage everyone not to slow down on ADA (Americans with Disabilities) access."
