Up the street from the bank is the oldest remaining church in Tehachapi. Known as the "Apple Pie" Church, The United Church Of Christ was known for its apple pie fundraising activities. Current Pastor Nancy Bacon, in traditional robe, told guests of the church's history, while a slice of old fashion apple pie was served to each visitor. Visitors were also given the opportunity to ring the rope-pull church bell.
