Hey, there! We're Brittany and Heather, the dynamic duo behind the Smith and Silva Real Estate Group. Ultimately, we are just two working moms from Tehachapi with a huge love for real estate and helping people out. Brittany dove into the real estate business nearly seven years ago, while Heather's been at it for 2.5 years. Our friendship kicked off over 12 years ago when we were both working at Alta One Federal Credit Union and, boy, what a ride it's been since.
A year ago, we decided to join forces and start our own real estate group after spending over a year working together at real estate broker Miramar International Tehachapi. It clicked for us – we shared similar goals and dreams, and both understood the importance of balancing work and family life. We had always been there to support each other and we knew we could offer something special to our clients as a team.
Now our team has grown to include three more amazing licensed agents, Colby Batson, Erica Meyer and Frank Graham, and we're super excited about what the future will hold. We are all about teamwork, supporting each other and making sure we all succeed together.
People have asked us what our favorite part of the job is, and one of them is the community events we get to be a part of, especially the rodeo. It's just so much fun and really brings our community together.
For anyone thinking about starting their own business or making a big career move, our advice is simple: just go for it. It's all about taking that leap of faith. Sure, there will be challenges along the way, as there have been for us, but that's just all a part of the journey. The important thing is that we're doing what we love and we have each other's back no matter what.
