TMRA Rough Stock School for kids of all ages

Kids of all ages can learn how to rodeo at Rough Stock School.

Tehachapi Mountain Rodeo Association is proud to present their second Rough Stock School happening at the Tehachapi Rodeo Grounds on April 27 and 28. We will also be introducing barrels and the rapidly growing breakaway roping this year. This school is designed for anyone ages 3-93.

As an introductory school, we will go over the basics and help you understand the gear needed to do each event, as well as proper techniques and basic fundamentals for you to rodeo as safely as possible. Stock of appropriate size will be supplied for mutton busting, calf riding, steer riding, junior bulls, bulls, bareback bronc, saddle bronc and ranch bronc. There will be limited gear available to borrow. A horse is required for the breakaway and barrel clinic. Entries can be completed at www. saddlebook.com – type in TMRA in the Events tab.
