James A. Stoll Sr., born Sept. 4, 1949, passed away on Jan. 13 in Tehachapi. A Celebration of Life was held at Calvary Chapel with interment held at the Bakersfield National Cemetery.

Jim went to be with the Lord in total peace.

Jim joined the United States Marine Corps. in 1967. He served proudly in Vietnam until June 1969. In September of 1969, Jim met his bride, Barbara Smith, and married her that same month. They enjoyed 54 years together, where they shared their time and travelled. Their most enjoyable moments were on the back of Jim’s boat, where they could be regularly found in port at Catalina Island. After retirement in 2005, Jim and Barbara moved to the small town of Tehachapi, where they took to traveling cross country in their RV.

Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara Stoll, his sons, James (Jim) Jr. and daughter Rebecca Griffith and Mike Griffith.

Jim will, indeed, be missed by all.
