Harley Roy Schmidt, 26, passed away on November 6, 2023. He was born on March 23, 1997 in Bakersfield, California. Harley was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend.
Harley was quite the comedian and was always trying to make people laugh. In his free time Harley enjoyed the thrill of riding his scooter, BMX bike, and skateboard. Whether it was cruising through the streets or performing tricks at the skate park Harley found solace and excitement in these hobbies.
Harley will be deeply missed by his mother Cindy Schmidt, sister Elizabeth Schmidt, grandmother Dianne Redner, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Harlan Schmidt, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 20, at 1:30 p.m., at the VFW in Tehachapi. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, and honor the memory of Harley.
