Warrior Boosters recognize 'Athletes of the Month'

The Tehachapi Warriors Booster Club honored the second round of Athlete of the Month recipients for the 2023-24 school year on Nov. 13. Honorees were recognized for their work on the fields, courts and courses in the month of October.
The girls athletes honored were MacKenna Chambers (Varsity Volleyball), Addison Smith (JV Volleyball), Lola Napier (Frosh/Soph Volleyball), Rose Gray (Varsity Tennis), Gabrielle Baker (JV Tennis), Cassandra Arias-Prado (Varsity Golf), Emma Gonzalez (Varsity Cross Country), Bryanna Grimes (JV Cross Country), Jade Lopez (Varsity Cheer) and Grace Van Ostrand (JV Cheer).
Those honored on the boys side were Kaleb Songer (Varsity Football), Tylere Lombardi (JV Football), Andrew Campos (Frosh/Soph Football), Samuel Torres (Varsity Cross Country) and Kyle Townsend (JV Cross Country).
Each athlete received an Athlete of the Month patch for their letterman jackets and an Athlete of the Month t-shirt courtesy of the Tehachapi Warriors Booster Club. Athlete of the Month recognition is an important part of the Warrior Booster Club's mission to support student-athletes at Tehachapi High School through recognition for their outstanding efforts in competition representing the Warriors and the community.
The Tehachapi Warriors Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds and supports all teams at Tehachapi High School through memberships and fundraising. Monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. at The Village Collective Studio in Downtown Tehachapi.
