At the veterans Day ceremonies held in Philip Marx Central Park on Nov. 11, the American Legion Riders, along with members of VFW Post 5948, delivered and raised the American flag prior to the day's ceremonies. The National Anthem was sung by Jane Scrivner, daughter of Kern County Supervisor Zack Scrivner.
