Christmas is a special time of year and the enjoyment kids experience during the season is unmatched.
Children love to celebrate the holidays with special Christmas activities. Keep your little elves occupied and make the season even more magical for them with Christmas Activities at the Tehachapi Art Center on Dec. 2, from noon to 5 p.m.
Activities include Christmas ornament decorating, hot chocolate, Christmas cookies and a Christmas sing-a-long. We will also have children's secret Santa gifts for under $10, which kids may purchase as gifts for their parents. The gifts will be gift-wrapped at the Art Center. The Tehachapi Arts Center (TAC) is a cooperative continuing in the tradition of Mel White's Treasure Trove. TAC provides a venue for local artisans to gather, learn, teach, display, and sell their art. We are located at 116 E. Tehachapi Blvd. (across the street from the water tower). TAC is open Sunday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Note: we stay open later for special events such as Thursday's Farmers Market.
