Tehachapi's Online Community News & Entertainment Guide
City of Tehachapi
Tehachapi Hometown Christmas is on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on S. Green Street. The event will feature vendors selling holiday-related items, crafts for kids, live music and entertainment, and will encourage visitors to check out local downtown businesses.
The City of Tehachapi is looking for vendors, local businesses, non-profits, and entertainment groups to participate in the event. All items sold by vendors must be hand-crafted or locally sourced.
All interested parties must submit an application form and proof of insurance in order to secure a booth spot. There is no fee for vendors, but booth spaces are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. All application material and proof of insurance must be submitted by Thursday, Nov. 2.
Hometown Christmas aims to help kick off the holiday spirit and will provide activities for visitors in between other Christmas-related events happening around town on Dec. 2. The event will wrap up in time for the annual Christmas Parade set to take place at 5:30 p.m. on F Street; the Christmas Tree lighting will take place at the Tehachapi Depot Museum after the parade.
