The storm may have rained out the celebrations on Aug. 20, but the fun didn't end on that day. We at the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce that the Thunder on the Mountain Car Show was rescheduled for Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Come to Downtown Tehachapi on Green, F and Robinson Streets to view nearly 250 classic cars. Purchase local beer at Centennial Plaza and enjoy lunch at one of the many downtown eateries.
At noon, all the cars will rev their engines and you'll experience "The Thunder." At 2 p.m., awards will be announced in a variety of categories.
