RYLA students report back to local Rotary

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun and making connections. This year the Tehachapi Rotary Club sent five students.
At the June 8 meeting, the students reported their experiences. Three of their members were elected group leaders at the camp. From left are Abigail McNutt, Hudson Kaiser, Elliott Gonzales, Melody Roberts and Cole Porter. Porter attends Tehachapi High School and the others attend Valley Oaks Charter.
The Rotary Club of Tehachapi is a volunteer service organization with the motto, "Service Above Self." The club meets on Thursdays at noon.
