We received great feedback on The Loop’s magazine, Experience Tehachapi, from a reader who traveled through Tehachapi recently.
Dear Editor,
My wife and I stayed overnight in Tehachapi on a trip to central California at Christmas time last year. I picked up a copy of your excellent publication, “Experience Tehachapi.”
We travel a lot and I pick up publications to see what is going on in the place we are at. This was a most professional and well done publication, probably the best I have ever seen promoting a local area or town. I brought it home and set it in my reading pile of stuff. I finally got to it yesterday and I was very impressed with it. I felt like I had been in Tehachapi for quite a while and if it was not located in California I would certainly consider buying property there. I particularly enjoyed the tales of folks who had grown up in the area (yourself included) and what they had to say about the good old days.
Thank you so much for putting it together. I really enjoyed reading it cover to cover.

The 2022 issue is still on stands at The Loop newspaper office, 206 S. Green St., Tehachapi. We’re currently working on the 2023 issue, which should be on stands by September.
