Local business owners recognized

Virginia Sheridan and Bill Lee were recognized by the Tehachapi City Council and other county representatives for being one of the first businesses to revitalize the downtown area of Tehachapi. Sheridan owns Sheridan's Gifts and Home Decor as well as Kelcy's Restaurant. Sheridan and Lee completely upgraded Kelcy's when they purchased it.

The Tehachapi City Council meets on the first and third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. They are currently meeting at the Police Department Community Room, 220 W. C St.
