Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society concert, Dec. 11

December 3, 2022

The Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society is happy to welcome back the popular Latin guitar duo of Liza Carbé and JP Durand, the co-creators of the world music group INCENDIO. This well received group will provide an exciting musical program, which will be offered Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Ridgecrest Presbyterian Church, 633 W. Las Flores Ave., in Ridgecrest, at 4 p.m.

They will be performing original music and their own arrangements of rock, pop and blues together with some Christmas Classics. They fashion their original music (as well as popular songs by other artists) on two nylon string guitars. Their fiery approach to playing the Spanish guitar excites and invigorates audiences everywhere they perform. They mix Latin rhythms and romantic melodies with heart felt blues and rock energy.

Their music has been featured in such films and TV shows as "Bridesmaids," "Law and Order," "Star Trek TNG," "Burn Notice," "Breaking Bad" and many more. Besides performing as the duo, they have been performing for 20 years with their group INCENDIO all over the U.S. and beyond. INCENDIO has 11 CDs commercially available, as well as multiple videos on their YouTube channel. They can be heard on Spotify, Pandora, other streaming sites and radio stations around the world.

They have been performing as a duo for 16 years with their group INCENDIO throughout the United Staters and beyond. INCENDIO has nine CDs commercially available, as well as multiple videos on their Youtube channel and can be heard on numerous radio stations all over the world.
