On Nov. 12 we have our long-awaited Watercolor Workshop with our own Nancy Waldron. Working in watercolor is a little different then oil and acrylic mediums. Brushes are important.
Nancy asks that you bring your own brushes if you have them. She will have some on hand for those who don't. You will be using #8 and #4 round brushes. If you need more information, give us a call.
Also on Nov. 12 is the return of our Improv Workshop with Susan and Johnathon Hall. From my own experience I can tell you that it is a fun event where you will feel welcome.
The leaders will conduct exercises that will work your brain and allow you to express yourself in diverse ways. It's challenging in a fun and encouraging environment.
Nov. 19 is another busy day.
Cathy Clark will be holding her Polymer Clay Class. Join her to create lovely Snowman ornaments. These will make great one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts. Hang them on your own tree or decorate a nice gift. There is only room for six people, so sign up early.
Then in the evening we'll have our November Paint Night with Edward Vasqkedi. Yes, we have wine, soda and snacks but Ed is here to teach, and he does an exemplary job. This month's subject is a nice outdoor scene with a cute little bird. One of my favorites in Ed's portfolio.
It's rumored that someone will be celebrating their birthday too, so save room for cake.
Children's Art Class every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. We can also offer a private class for birthdays or your own group of friends. Call Grayson for more information.

Our Jewelry Store is ready to design and produce that exceptional gift for that special person. But don't put off making that appointment. One of the best things about our shop is that these are one-of-a-kind, custom made here in Tehachapi, pieces. They're as unique as you want them to be but, you need to give the jeweler time to create that memorable gift. We are also busy replacing watch batteries, re-sizing rings and repairing all types of jewelry. Mike's Jeweler hours are noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment. Call or text (661) 805-0849 for more information.
The Tehachapi Arts Center (TAC) is a cooperative continuing in the tradition of Mel White's Treasure Trove. TAC provides a venue for local artisans to gather, learn, teach, display, and sell their art. We are located at 116 E. Tehachapi Blvd. (across the street from the water tower). TAC is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can reach us at: (661) 822-6794.
