Healing Vigil, July 13

Healthy Hippie Trading Co.

Healthy Hippie Trading Co. will be holding a Healing Vigil followed by a paint project on Wednesday, July 13.

Many in our community are distressed by recent events in our country. Healthy Hippie owner, Sarah Rose is one of those people.

“Between all the shooting deaths and the recent SCOTUS decision, I’m feeling lost and afraid,” she said. “I know I’m not the only one, so I decided to hold an event where those of us who are struggling can come together in support and love. I also reached out to local artist and teacher, Terri Barillas, and she’s going to guide us in a painting project. Art is always a good way to express emotions in a positive way, so I’m pleased that she’s going to join us.”

There is limited space and you must register prior to the event. No one will be admitted at the door who has not registered ahead of time. Attendance of the vigil is free, however, the cost of the painting project is $25 which will cover everything you need for your project.

The vigil will start at 5:30 p.m. with painting to begin at 6:30 p.m.

For information on how to register and more details about the event, check out their Facebook page or call the store at (661) 822-9797.
