The pool ready and waiting.
It's summer and that means it's pool time. The Pool will open for the summer on Monday, June 13, Open Swim is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday will be 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Other special events at the pool include Water Aerobics and Adult Lap swims. Lessons for Guppies (ages 3 to 5), Goldfish (ages 6 and up) and Dolphins (ages 8 and up) will be available. New website
Parks and Recreation has a new website for online registration for activities. Set up an account for you and your family. Be sure all wavers and forms are complete and go through the check out for the activity. This website will make registration easier. Visit the site at StallionSprings.recdesk.com/community. Day Camp
Kids Summer Day Camp will be held July 19-23 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for children 5-12. Join the camp for crafts, games and other summer activities
College Scholarships
Jacob Rodriguez and Darren Mosser were awarded $2,000 each for college scholarships from their Stallion Springs Community. Best of luck in your future endeavors! Thank you POA and Debbie Rodriguez. This would not have happened without you. I was especially impressed with their love for nature and the beauty this community has to offer.
Food Distribution
The Stallion Springs Community Church is working with a distribution center in Bakersfield to provide free food distribution to local residents. It is open to all, no income verification is required. It includes non-perishables and breads, deserts, snacks, butter, cheese and meat. The distribution is scheduled for July 9, Aug. 13, Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon. Food boxes will be provided on a first come first served basis while supplies last. The church will have a Drive-Thru for your convenience. Stallion Springs Board of Directors
The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the CSD Boardroom. The next meeting is scheduled for July 13, 2022.
